Our commitment to ethical behavior, integrity and respect in everything we do
Privacy
Privacy Policy
Protecting personal data is central to how Konovo operates. Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, protect, and disclose personal data across our website, services, research activities, marketing communications, and business operations.
AI
AI is a core underlying technology of Konovo’s Intelligent Platform. Our AI Statement outlines how we use AI responsibly across research services, including survey preparation, data processing, analysis, reporting, and insight generation.
Konovo uses AI to accelerate and enhance understanding of human-created data — not replace it. We do not use AI-generated data in place of actual respondent data, do not incorporate client data into AI training models, and ensure AI-assisted outputs are reviewed and validated by qualified research professionals.
Our Responsible AI Principles:
Transparency
Accuracy + Human Oversight
Bias + Fairness
We believe AI should enhance human potential, not replace it.
See how that philosophy shapes hiring at Konovo.
Panel
Survey data quality starts with the participant. Konovo’s deep profiling, rigorous recruitment, and industry-leading quality measures make us the obvious choice.
Questionnaire and survey design plays a vital role in the engagement of physicians and patients during the survey experience.
High-quality survey data is a partnership between Konovo and our clients.
We differentiate between normal human behaviour — including momentary inattention and survey fatigue — versus consistent inattention and fraudulent activity.
The Three Pillars of Panel Quality
Verify
- AI-powered photo ID check
- API-based verification
- Manual reviews for anomalies
Validate
- Credentials & specialties checked
- No access before full validation
- Profiling completed pre-survey
Monitor
- Machine learning flags odd behavior
- Redemption/survey behavior tracked
- Inattentive users removed
Responding Patterns — What Is Normal and Acceptable?
Engaged and Thorough
- All answers are consistent
- Open-end responses are expansive and detailed
Attentive but Fallible
- High levels of attention but may have momentary lapses
- Somewhat short but sensible OEs (potentially less OEs towards the end of a long survey)
- Survey length is slightly less than average
- Tripped up on confusing question(s)
- Straight-lined on 1-2 questions that did not have opposing statements
Bad Actors
- Speeds through survey in less than 1/2 the median survey time
- Consistent straight-lining, specifically on questions with opposing statements
- Multiple failed logic-checks and unlikely combinations compared to other respondents
- Nonsensical OEs (either gibberish or not pertaining to the question)
- Copy/pasted OE text
