Through open conversation and audience participation, these sessions bring together women leaders to discuss the realities of sustaining health, building careers, and supporting the next generation.

Women often balance demanding careers with personal health, family responsibilities, and societal expectations. This conversation explores how women can prioritize well-being while navigating professional life.
The discussion will cover key dimensions of women’s health including gynecological health, nutrition, fitness, and mental health, alongside perspectives on sustaining energy, resilience, and long-term well-being.

Speakers

Dr. Sukhpreet Patel Founder and Clinical Lead, MenopauseWize
Dr. Sukhpreet Patel is a menopause health advocate and gynecologist trained in India, with a Master’s in Public Health from the UK and certification as a Registered Health and Nutrition Counsellor in Canada. Her work integrates clinical medicine, public health, and lifestyle-behavioral science to advance evidence-based menopause care.
She has developed structured training programs for hormone therapy prescribers and facilitates workshops designed to build confidence in individualized MHT decision-making. Dr. Patel was selected for the global Bilingual Community for her combined expertise in clinical practice and data science, contributed to the 100 Questions Women’s Health Innovation Initiative, and mentors emerging professionals through the European Menopause and Andropause Society’s Junior Mentorship Programme (JuMP). Her work spans clinical care, medical education, and professional training through the MenopauseWize Clinic, podcast, and educational platforms.

Dr. Shilpa Sreenath (She/Her) Counselling Psychologist
Dr. Shilpa Sreenath holds a practitioner doctorate (D. Psych) in Counselling Psychology. Having studied and worked in Scotland for 11 years before relocating to India in 2018, her identity is shaped by three decades of cross-cultural life experiences. This has informed her understanding of diverse economic, sociocultural, and spiritual contexts as they relate to holistic health and congruent living.
Her approach to therapy is client-centered and outcome-focused, with significant attention given to the client’s subjective account of familial, sociocultural, and developmental influences on existing distress. Through intervention, these issues are addressed, reframed, and shifted from a dysfunctional to a regulated state.

Uma Subramaniam Yoga Instructor and Wellness Educator
Uma Subramaniam is a yoga teacher, wellness educator, and consultant with over 20 years of experience in holistic health education, specializing in program development for integrative healing with startups and yoga teacher training. With prior experience in corporate roles including internal auditing, technical consulting, and advertising, she blends business acumen with wellness expertise. Uma holds Master’s degrees in Philosophy and Yogic Sciences, along with multiple certifications in yoga instruction and holistic therapies, bringing a cross-cultural, interdisciplinary approach to health and well-being. She currently teaches at the YMCA Minnesota and conducts Yoga Teacher Trainings in Iowa City.
